Again we wake to the sun directly across the lake and shining in the window.

I think I have slept the morning away and it is barely past 6am. Coffee....and we have sugar!! I love my in house barista!

This morning, we have access to a motorcycle, very familiar to us. We have our coffee and head towards
Lassen. First we stop at
Mineral, for breakfast. A family run diner with history on every wall. A great breakfast and then into the park. There is still much snow, a bit chilly, but breathtaking.

This is our last morning in this part of CA. A most peaceful and breathtaking area of creation.

We went back to the campground, closed up, had lunch at
Plumas Pines, a most excellent place to eat, right on the water front with great staff and owners to make you feel like family.
And then it was time to go home and back to reality...
