Morro Rock at Sunset, time to sigh
Worked at the Gallery today. Hard to believe it is November when the temperatures climbed into the 80's!! A tad bit warm inside, but from the customers coming in, apparently it was just as warm outside. But as the day came to an early close with the time change, the sunset was a treat. Never a bad day working there. Sometimes to hard not to grab my camera and escape outside. (My iPhone is a good substitute)
I meet such wonderful people and love getting to know my fellow artist better.
My thanks for today:
The opportunity to "work" at a fantastic gallery with other artists.
The smell of the sea floating in the back door.
Meeting people who wander through the gallery absorbing the talent of over 70+ artists.
Dinner ready when I get home, thanks love ;)
A kitty sitting by me chatting greetings.

Morro Rock Under Sunset Skies
Only the third day into the challenge and I about blow it.... (insert hang head)
Big sigh
How is it life just gets busier the older you get???
Working on some new images to put in the gallery and maybe some other places as well, I get carried away and then ... poof ... time ... is ... gone ...
So, before I totally forget, here goes for today.
Thankfulness for:
A safe delivery of mom back home and us back to our home.
The chance to work on some images...always makes me smile.
Seeing and hugging our daughter and my sister...two talented photographers.
Mexican Food, woop woop!! (back to being good today)
a drive into the country to see weavers at work, wow!

30 Days of Thanksgiving Day 1

Colors of Fall
An annual challenge....and more so this year.
With encouragement, I will once again, for the 3rd year contribute. Not sure really, who takes the time to read my random ramblings, but it is a worthwhile exercise in digging and reminding myself of so many things to be thankful for.
I get so caught up in every day life, I usually overlook the most amazing things right in front of me, or maybe beside me or if I take the time to look ... behind me.
Today, November 1st, day one:
Thankfulness is found...
In my husband who gets up every day to go to work without complaining to provide for us.
And a cup of coffee prepared most mornings found on the nightstand when I wake.
His arms that hold me securely (long road through 40! years of marriage)
So, I guess today, I am most thankful for my mate in this life.

Edna Valley Sunrise
The rewards of getting out early where I live is peace & beauty of the valley. Even if it is an early run to the office to fix breakfast for a mate who is studying, you can look around and find amazement in nature.
